  Pinsir's not a bad mon. Hasn't been since 4th Gen gave it some actual moves to work with.

  X-Scissor, the only Physical Bug-Type move that's stronger is Megahorn. 

  
  

  It also gets Bug Bite but Pinsir doesn't really have the stats for that.

  Pachirisu is surprisingly bulky, and is pretty fast. It's not sweeping anything, ever but it has a fantastic movepool for annoyance. Plus it got Volt Absorb from Dream World so you can actually have safe switch ins with it. 

  
  

  Give it Super Fang and Thunder Wave. Those two combined can cripple the effectiveness of most mons. 

  
  

  It gets Electro Ball now, so after you Paralyse the enemy you can use that for attacking if you have to. It also gets Grass Knot, Charm, Fake Tears, U-Turn, Light Screen and Covet. 

  
  

  You're never really gonna be sweeping with it. What you're gonna do with it is bring it out early in the battle to lock down various mons and make them easy prey for when you bring out the big guns. 

  
  

  @GMH: With Dream World? Yes, Ditto is now good. VERY good.
