I know that the cinema snob video of people reacting to it will be funnier than the actual movie.

Why does the world let things like this happen?

    Since I have no idea who you're talking about, I'm going to assume you're suggesting that the Smurfs movie would be better if it followed the plot of Faust and was directed by Jeff McCracken, director of various episodes of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.

    Though... even then, I guess you'd be right... >.>

    One of the truly baffling things is that his movie has some people in it that we and others would consider talented. NPH, Hank Azaria, Katy Perry...

    KP's the one that really boggles me. With NPH and Hank you could say they need money for their child molestation ring or something but Perry's on top of the world right now. Most movies would give up a testicle to have her in it.

    Maybe she was a fan of the cartoon?

    NPH is actually fairly well off. I assume Mrs. Perry reached out into acting (or whatever she did in that movie) because she felt she had talent. But if she can't sing, then how could she be expected to act?
