Malk doesn't like Daredevil

But he's like Spider-Man and Batman rolled into one :(

  • MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
Eh, I don't dislike him, I just find most of his stories pretty boring. I did like Miller's pseudo-noir take and have heard good things about Brubaker's run though.
  • But Malk! He's Batman and Spider-Man rolled into one! (Why yes, that is the one and only reason I read Daredevil)

So is Terry McGinnis and on average he's written better.
  • He who laments and can't let go of the past is forever doomed to solitude.
Besides, Terry McGinnis is a teen...FROM THE FUTURE!
  • You can change. You can.
Who Killed Jean DeWolfe is still one of my fave Spider Man stories out there. And it's because of daredevil.

    Just sayin'.
  • no longer cuddly, but still Edmond
Being a Marvel character, Daredevil is automatically better than anything DC has ever published.

Actually, Daredevil is one Marvel character I have very little experience with. Whenever they publish his Masterworks in TPB I'll be sure to fix that.

Anyway, there's a Miller TPB that is pretty much the meat of the character (and Elektra, for that matter) I recommend it.

I'm aware Miller's run has been collected, but I refuse to start anywhere except the absolute beginning.
  • 90s Image>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>All other companies.

Shaddap, we all know Spawn is awesome.

I actually had a few Savage Dragon issues not long ago. they seemed... interesting.

There was another company named... Vertical? Vertigo? The company that was eventually bought out by Acclaim and did their own version of Turok, Dinosaur Hunter. They also did something called Ninjak which I was interested in for awhile, but wasn't as interesting as Turok. Anyway, thought they were kinda decent, for American comics.

but Silver Age Marvel is pretty much the only comics I'd be caught dead reading nowadays, and to be honest I'm not even sure about them.
  • You're thinking of Valiant. Vertigo was an imprint of DC.
  • We Played Some Open Chords and Rejoiced, For the Earth Had Circled the Sun Yet Another Year

I only read alternative graphic novels published in arts magazines and the Internet.

Wait a minute. If Wicked only reads alternative comics, I only read books and you only read billboards, then... how are we communicating on IJBM?
  • Adaptative user interface.

    >implying that Kingdom Come is not the most underground comic in the history of mankind
