One week passed, I woke up a day late for work, Found my good times, And she took my shirt... (~"New Tatoo" by Saving Abel~) Why do people steal shirts so often in fiction Why is it always after sex And why does it seem only fictional women do it

    a little muffled
She needs to wear a shirt the next morning, she's at your house so she doesn't have any clean ones, so she borrows yours. Then never gives it back, I guess?

Men don't do it because a) generally they're not going to get a girl's shirt to fit them and b) most men aren't going to give a fuck about wearing a shirt for an extra day anyway.
