    • golf (depending on the course)
    • building your own small airplane
    • extreme body modification (whole body tattoos, implants, etc.)
    • gun collecting.
    • taking actual college courses for fun.

    Okay, those last three are just plain out of reach except for the uppermost of upper-class people.  We're talkin' middle-class and upper-middle-class hobbyists here!

    In other news, on last night's CBS Evening News, Starbucks's CEO was interviewed, and asked what his fellow executives and business leaders ought to do.  He suggested that they stop throwing so much money into campaign and political contributions and actually start using the money to hire people and create jobs.
