  • I'm Scottish, so naturally I love whisky, whiskey can go fuck itself though.

Also, whisky was first brewed in Fife, which is where I live.
  • ...Naturally?

But but but I'm Scottish and think whisky's only good for cooking. >.>
  • But are you Scottish from Scotland or just descended from Scots? It could have been diluted.
  • Scottish from Scotland.  Like, lived here all my life, as did my parents and my parents' parents. >.>
  • D: Then clearly you're an abomination and must be purged from this glorious land!
  • ^It's the No True Scotsman Fallacy. No, it literally is.

    Lol.

  • No rainbow star
No TRUE Scotsman comes from Scotland!

    ...Wait...
  • Hey, at least I think it's good for something. >.>

I apparently have either Scottish or Irish blood in me (Top three contributers to my genes are Scottish/Irish (Nobody in the family has any idea which), Mi'kmaq, and English :D)
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
My family's entirely Scottish by ancestry, with the exception of one random exiled French noble or something.

My grandfather was a wealthy drug dealer :D

...His property was taken when he died though. Apparently a single one of his hidden coffee cans full of money could have paid for college easily D:

At least we still have some of the antiques he was given as payment by some people
  • Um... I think I have a little Irish on my father's side... But other than that, it's nothing but Scots, really.

...I think.  I dunno, I never really looked into my family tree before.  Never really thought about it, I guess.
  • One foot in front of the other, every day.
This is completely stereotypical of me, but mead is actually awesome. It's the strength of wine, but has a lovely strong sweetness to it as well. I introduced many of my friends to it, and now it's a regular favourite. One of the first questions I always get when walking into a party or gathering is "so, did you bring any mead? :D".

    Seriously, good stuff.
  • I am Dr. Ned who is totally not Dr. Zed in disguise.
    ^
I've had a bottle of that after an Ale festival.
I just found it too sweet to drink in any reasonable quantity, sipping not quaffing definitely.

(Also I've seen what I feel is the Anti-mead, 'Old Engine Oil' a bitter of around 12%.)
  • Determining ethnicity/race by ancestry is silly, and ultimately just comes down to what you decide you want to call yourself anyway, so fuck that.
