Catching yourself reading manga left-to-right

Or, more often, reading Western comics right-to-left.

>_>

  • I have pretty much trained myself to switch at will.
  • MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
Same, though in my teenage years after a binge I would sometimes make this mistake.
  • They're somethin' else.
Scott pilgrim has an easter egg that rebukes you for doing this. I think it was the 3rd volume or so XD
  • MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
Yeah, I think I did it with Scott Pilgrim, but honestly it's his fault for releasing it in the same size and format as manga. Even Marvel's undersized stuff doesn't pull that crap.
  • a little muffled
I've done it both ways, many times.
  • You can change. You can.
Don't read manga because i have good taste and stuff.

    Has friends besides tanks now
I think the only reason I haven't had this problem is that the only Western comic I've read is Watchmen.

I haven't had this problem lately because reading comics is apparently just not something I can do so I don't really bother trying anymore.

Actually, not true.  I still read K-ON!.  That's about it though.  Anyway, this is something that used to be a problem back when I actually did read manga.  If I came across a comic that goes left-to-right I'd be confused briefly.

  • After reading a manga, I accedentally read this comic right-to-left and didn't get the joke.
  • ...wait what that is read...ohhhhhh
  • Creature - Florida Dragon Turtle Human
I find myself able to switch between reading them either way at will.  Flipping actual physical books, however, still gets me sometimes, mostly because I read manga so darn rarely at all.
  • I've mostly trained myself not to read western comics right-to-left, which is why it annoys me when people insist on using "manga" formatting for their western work.
  • MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
Admittedly the manga format is probably more convenient for booksellers, but a lot of comic art is more detailed than most manga art, so they lose more in the shrinking.

The few times I read manga, I usually can't stop myself from reading left to right until some arrow points "read in this direction."

    Also:
