    Conservapedia is a nonfunny parody of Wikipedia that explains what it considers the official political conservative view on various issues.

    The page in question is basically a trope page on "secularization": the process of replacing terms which have a more religious connotation with terms that are less offensive to the non-religious at the expense of conservatives, tradition, religion, history, etc.

    I sympathize with people that don't care to refer to dates as "B.C.E." rather than "B.C."  But how is calling "Independence Day" "The Fourth of July" secularization?   Both terms are secular.   If this were a trope page, it'd be in serious need of trimming.
