This bugs me, too.

And no, I don't mean something stupid like "My daddy wanted me aborted" or whatever. No, a man fucking tried to STRANGLE ME IN MY CRIB. I was about a year old at the time, and I didn't find out until I was eighteen and my parents casually mentioned it. When I confronted them about it, they said they thought it wasn't terribly important.
