    Aesthetics. And it's not that bad. I mean, all I had to do is watch a movie of my choosing and explain what the director was going for in during it.

    It's not that hard, but you have to rewind the movie a lot to properly catch everything.

    If you need some help, I think that glennmagusharvey tends to know a lot of stuff about that subject area. It might be a good idea to consult him.

    If I remember correctly there is also a homework help thread on TV Tropes and if you want to talk about ideas for this kind of thing, I would be willing and able to listen though I admit that I am not really an expert on Congressional earmarks either.

    I'm not an expert on earmarks either.  All I really know it that some people--such as Senator McCain and Representative Jeff Flake--have it as their schtick that they oppose earmarks.  This opposition is controversial, even within conservative circles.

    Also, terms related to "earmark": "pork"/"pork-barreling"/"pork-barrel spending" (a derogatory term), "bacon"/"bring home the bacon" (a positive term).
