Don'tcha just hate that feeling, when you see an ex being all...happy and shit with another person and your heart just sinks? It's crap.

  • Should point out that this is a very recent ex, the breakup was mere weeks ago and I am still very hung up on her.
  • Oh. But I was just responding to the question and I have never felt that before.

    No, still nothing.

Admittedly I don't have an ex, but i'm actually ready for a breakup. From my viewpoint of my relationship, I am a filler by being someone apparently acceptable as a partner, and as soon as she gets someone better (which...somehow hasn't happened yet) I don't expect to stay with her long, nor do I believe I should, especially if it makes her less happy.
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
-does not yet have any exes-
  • Has friends besides tanks now
-has an ex from the eighth grade, and that hardly counts-

I'm glad I don't know this feeling, but I'm sad that I have yet to know the feelings that lead up to it.
  • They're your ex for a reason, ya know?
  • Yeah, the reason being that while we were together, she was technically cheating on her boyfriend with me, and my conscience ended up getting the better of me.

That's what you are supposed to do with your ex until you guys reconcile your bitter feelings. You either carry along like you are happy because you two aren't together anymore, or pretend you are happy without them. When the sting from the relationship death goes away and you guys have times to clear your head the feelings of competition will fade away.
  • I am Dr. Ned who is totally not Dr. Zed in disguise.
I know your feel bro Conductor.

I had the same with an ex, it took a while to get past especially due to how it came down that I was sharing a house with the ex.
