And of course, when we read Romeo and Juliet in 9th grade, half the class was theater and were screwing around.  So we got a bizarre cast of a very Irish Juliet, a Cockney Romeo, and Bob the Goldfish as Tybalt.

I remember my freshmen year Shakespeare class. As soon as I started talking, my teacher was ridiculing me for using a British accent for an Italian character.
