Think of the word "bow" (as in "bow and arrow"), and now pronounce it but with a t and then with an h as the starting consonant.
I think that was actually a pretty clear way to explain that.
Have you ever been in a situation where someone tried to describe to you how to say something online and ended up just confusing you even more? That was what happened to me when someone suggested that to say "Clannad" one needed to pronounce it like Donald. I guess that might make sense for someone who is Irish, but I had trouble understanding how that even worked at all.
