    I don't think there is a "normal posting mode" for mods. If there was, they could theoretically break all the rules.

    ^^ If they did break all the rules, they'd be stripped of mod powers.  And probably banned by the other mods.

    But I don't think a mod needs to become a saint when they aren't exercising their powers.  It's not as though she were breaking the rules.

    As long as they aren't assholes while they're using their power, I don't think there's a problem.

    There's a difference between getting annoyed and leaving a thread in a way that might seem a bit harsh, but doesn't break a rule, and getting annoyed and just banhammering someone.  The second one is the only one that I think really matters.
