    Is there any kind of history of former mods? I could swear there used to be one back when I first started in 2009 that I don't hear from any more, but I don't see anyone on Know The Staff who isn't currently active (except Janitor.)

    I think he/she had a tiger for an avatar. Or I could be experiencing early-onset senility. Perhaps both?

    Hmm, maybe she is who I was thinking of then. Much like Nyarly above, I had the impression that she's always had a fox avatar of some kind.

    Edit: Looking at her avatar gallery, I confirmed that she does have the avatar I was thinking of. Thanks for clearing that up, delta.

    I don't think they're married, or even romantically involved.  At least, they've made no indication of it.

    That said, Madrugada is one of the best mods, along with Bobby G and Morven.

    Camacan is in Australia. Eddie is in America. Unless Eddie is holding an LDR when he already has a ladyfriend...well...no, that's impossible and highly unlikely.

    If you are referring to Camacan, that troper is really involved in the Trope Repair Shop forum and has been for a long time. I think that probably explains the moderatorship more than anything else considering that subforum is arguably closest to the wiki's actual mission. That is not to say I think that subforum is especially great or anything, just that it does make sense to me that one who helped out there a lot would be chosen as the next mod.

    In fact, I'm not sure if any of the mods are even on the same landmass. Fast Eddie is in the Bahamas, Janitor is in Switzerland, Madrugada is somewhere in the midwest (I wanna say Illinois, but I'm not certain) and BobbyG is in Britain. Not sure where the remaining ones live, but I don't think they live anywhere near each other.

    Actually, if we wait for them to abuse power, then we know that they'll abuse power, in which case the higher up mods will just revoke his/her mod-hood, leaving them to fend amongst the forum as a regular poster.
