  • Um, it's not really that difficult to get them. Unless they're made a special way in the UK.

    a little muffled
Chippies just meaning fish & chips places? I'm sure there are a few of those in the States.
  • Fish and chips?

    I think I'll pass!
  • My town has a place that sells authentic UK Fish and Chips. It's a bar though, so I've never been there.
  • Really? There are some? Huh, well you learn something new every day. and FU Counterclock, fish and chips is delicious!
  • I am Dr. Ned who is totally not Dr. Zed in disguise.
    Fish and chips are great!

  • a little muffled
I'd imagine they're more plentiful on the coasts. That's my experience in Canada, at least. They're hard to find in Toronto (though I think there are a couple), but they're all over the damn place in Victoria.
  • When in Turkey, ROCK THE FUCK OUT
I can go to my local mall, where the Nathan's Famous sells Arthur Treacher Fish & Chips. I've never had it. But I can say, Conductor, that I feel sorry for the British for not having any good food Nathan's of their own.
  • There used to be an Arthur Treacher's Fish & Chips in Reynoldsburg, but it's gone now. I can't remember if the place that's there now is a fish & chips place or not, I haven't been there since they changed.
  • Kichigai birthday!!
There is no horchata in America.

    Haha faggots.

    @GL

It almost looks like real fish and chips.
  • When in Turkey, ROCK THE FUCK OUT
I don't know about the fish, but if the chips are the same ones as they give you with the Nathan's hot dogs then I can say that they're good.

Tbh the chips look like oven chips rather than chippie chips.
  • I have heard you can't get poutine in America. I don't know how people could live like that.
