And it's bugging me shitless. It was either on the SEGA DreamCast or the Saturn.

You played as this...guy, he had red spikey hair and like...gems in his hands.

    I need more information then that to figure out what the game is. Do you remember anything about the gameplay.

    ^^ No, I would have known Knuckles Chaotix, that was on the Sega 32X.

    Delta: I really can't remember much, I'd guess it was a platformer. If it helps at all, the character made a silent cameo in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic by Archie.

    It was Astal on the Sega Saturn.
