    I was just typing stream-of-consciousness, actually. Why the hell my consciousness went there is a question I don't want to attempt to answer.

    I would say this conversation has ended well. At the root this was a discussion about the validity of Literary Analysis, which I've always believed was not only useless but harmful because it encourages an "anything goes" mentality that denies and denounces logical analysis and critical thinking in favor of seeing how many ridiculous conclusions you can come to based on asperger's-like dot-connecting.

    I'm only glad Juan simply decided to bow out, because I'm not sure I could've sustained such a headache-inducing debate either.
