When do you decide the world's not worth the trouble?

I'm just curious what it would take ot push everybody over the edge? What one little detail would be the last straw?

    ->obligatoryjokerquote

The world was never world the trouble of getting invested in it in the first place. I lack the empathy necessary to care for anything beyond my monkeysphere and moderate life of luxury. I realize all that shit is fleeting, I'm trying to stretch it out for as long as possible with the optimal cost/benefit ratio.

  • sounds like a decent policy by now. I've given up.
  • Nope, you still take the time to consume fiction, try to develop a personal philosophy and post on the intertubes.

You see, a sedentary lifestyle isn't that bad once you stop angsting about it. But you're still hoping to be saved somehow, without ever investing anything in it. Killing that hope is easier than working through a mountain of personal issues.

  • When in Turkey, ROCK THE FUCK OUT
    When your dick stops working.
  • sedentary lifestyole is my prefrence. I hate going out. i'm a closet recluse. but the idea that classical liberalismz has no place in the world was the last straw for me I just don't know what to do.
  • Sit at computer, eat, drink, do a daily routine of push-ups to keep fit, keep up with personal hygiëne, watch animu, read mango, play vidya, and perform ineffectual in internet debates. What more do you desire?
  • liberty. I want a world where classical liberalism isn't shunned like a plague where pdople udnerstand individualsm and responsibility. where the government isn't intruding in our lives and our economy.
  • Utopias aren't meant to be real. Besides, no way any government is ever going to impose on the sedentary lifestyle described above. You still care too much about the world outside your windows.

  • liberty is important to all and I'll suffer death before I see it destroyed.
  • Vague, abstract slogans and claims that will never be put to the test. You'll never be in a situation where you can practice what you preach.
  • I intend to I think it's time fore a second revolution in my country.
  • This hypothetical plan would involve going outside quite a lot. How will you manage to deal with stress and uncomfort?

liberty is a worthy enough cause. it's worth the risk.
  • When push comes to shove, you'll find plenty of excuses to do nothing. You're not mentally confused enough to perform a random shooting, and too sociophobic to get involved in any libertarian political effort. Firing hole-filled arguments into cyberspace doesn't contribute anything to the cause of liberty besides a self-congratulatory celebration of the freedom of speech.

  • Fuck it. nearest suicide booth?
  • Be glad you'll never enter a situation where you'll have to make the effort of defending liberty. It's not your burden, it'll never be necessary, and you have all the freedom you require. If the state of your country depresses you, read less news.
  • nearest suicide booth?
  • If it's a Futurama reference, you'll probably have to wait a millenium for that stuff to appear.

  • too long what's the best suicide method man.

So it's that time again where you ignore everything we say, make it impossible to carry on the conversation, and change the topic to suicide. Wonderful.

I think a mod said it's against the rules to encourage suicide, so I'll just leave that there. Pretty sure telling someone the best way to commit suicide falls into that category.

    In short: Don't. Seriously. Stop.

    Possible responses:

a)continue to treat thread in non-serious fashion. rest of forum will frown on this.

b)link to suicide manuals you can find by googling for a minute. rest of forum will see this as trying to entice an-heroing.

c)sing the praises of life and suggest advice on how to deal with it that will be ignored anyway.

d)flag post for sympathy trolling/casual suicde threats. dramabomb, banhammer, stuff that could be avoided anyway.

Meh, there's not really a good way to respond to this stuff.

e)Find distraction. Here's a text on liberty that I personally quite like. Dated as hell, but that makes it retro.

The world is worth the trouble. Without it I can't have internet, or Minecraft, or Dreyer's ice cream, or Wag Moon pet fish, or La Sanza, or Victoria's Secret, or Vagabonds, or sex, or air, or joy.
  • Vorpy......Victoria's Secret.

    I'll be in my bunk.
  • ☭Unstoppable Sex Goddess☭
But La Senza > Victoria's Secret

    Nevermind.

Aside from that, yeah, the best thing in life is Water. I love water. the world will always be worth it if I have water.
